This is an extended abstract for 8th International Conference on Debris Flow Hazard Mitigation, and it has been used as the key reference in our new funding proposal.

This extended abstract mainly present details of  the ashing and rheological experiments modelling post-fire debris flows. The research results indicate that burnt severity (i.e., temperature) has profound effects on the rheology of post-fire debris flow and findings from this study are useful for helping engineers and scientists select a relevant rheological model to conduct hazards assessments of post-fire debris flow.
