Aquatic carbon cycle on the Chinese Loess Plateau
This dataset includes 1) aquatic greenhouse gas emissions from the Chinese Loess Plateau inland waters (including streams, rivers, lakes, and reservoirs), measured during the period 2015-2019; 2) high-frequency measurement of aquatic carbon export at the Huayuankou hydrologic gauge on the Yellow River in the year of 2018.
Three worksheets are included:
1) Stream and river GHG emission: CO2 and CH4 emissions from streams and rivers on the Chinese Loess Plateau (122 sites with coordinate information).
2) Lake and reservoir GHG emission: CO2 and CH4 emissions from lakes and reservoirs on the Chinese Loess Plateau (30 sites with coordinate information).
3) Huayuankou flow, sediment and C: Daily flow and sediment records, and high-frequency (usually at 5 day intervals or shorter) C measurements. For C data, there are dissolved organic carbon (DOC), dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC), and particulate organic carbon (POC).
