Data was collected to examine factors associated with internalized stigma in patients with schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders and the interactions between these factors.
This information included basic demographic characteristics (age, gender, and years of education), stigma-related variables (internalized stigma (ISMI) and perceived stigma (LPDDS)) clinical variables (positive, negative, and depressive symptoms), psychological and psychosocial variables (personality traits and coping styles), and cognitive variables (performance on cognitive tasks (MWCST, Arithmetic, Digit symbol, and cognitive insight score (BCI).
Data was collected via face-to-face interview (single session), and the study has received IRB approval. Participants provided signed informed consent before study procedures were conducted.
