<h4>Description</h4>
<p>The geometry of 18 countries that have joined the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) as members, observers, or dialogue partners up until August 2022</p>
<p>According to the official website of SCO, it is found in 2001 and focuses on regional security issues, combating regional terrorism, ethnic separatism, and religious extremism. SCO also promotes regional development and has been an observer in the UN General Assembly since 2005.</p>

<p>Data were collected from<a href="http://eng.sectsco.org/about_sco/" target="_blank"> the official website of SCO</a>. The geospatial features, including polygons and boundaries of regions, are sourced from <a href="https://www.naturalearthdata.com/downloads/10m-cultural-vectors/10m-admin-0-countries/" target="_blank">Natural Earth, Admin 0 – Countries</a> version 5.1.1 (Published on 12 May 2022).
