This dataset contains datasets for a doctoral study entitled "Effects of an empowerment-based educative psycho-behavioral program on neuropsychiatric symptoms among persons with mild cognitive impairment"
This study consists of three phases:
Phase 1 - a qualitative study exploring the lived experience of neuropsychiatric symptoms among persons with mild cognitive impairment. Semi-structured interview was conducted with 30 participants with mild cognitive impairment.
Phase 2 - a validation study examining the psychometric properties of the traditional Chinese version of the Mild Behavioral Impairment Checklist. A total of 172 participants completed a set of instruments.
Phase 3 - a mixed method study to examine the effects of an empowerment-based educative psycho-behavioral (Empower-EPB) program on neuropsychiatric symptoms among persons with mild cognitive impairment. Outcome measure were evaluated at baseline, upon the completion of the Empower-EPB program and four weeks thereafter.
