As reactive oxygen species are found to have diverse physiological and pathological functions in living systems, the demands for credible tools to interpret the specific roles of ROS in various metabolic processes inspire the efforts on developing analyte-activatable molecular probes for sensing and imaging of ROS in cells, tissues and living organisms.This dataset integrates the research work on development of molecular probes for detecting highly reactive oxygen species. Experimental records, synthetic routes, test parameters, characterization results, as well as periodic summary reports are included in the dataset.
