Supporting Data for "Towards an Integrated Deployable Framework for Green Retrofitting in Developing Economies: A Case of Sri Lanka Using a Data-driven Hybrid Approach"

Energy consumption and Greenhouse Gases by existing buildings must be reduced since they contribute to undeniable adverse impacts on our mother planet, and green retrofitting has recently been witnessed as a practical strategy in this aspect. Hence, this study aims to enhance green retrofitting in Sri Lanka by developing an integrated deployable framework, including its drivers, barriers, and strategies. The current study adopted multiple data collection and analysis tools under the mixed approach. Data were collected through a comprehensive literature review, structured and semi-structured interviews, and a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques included content analysis, mean score analysis, Mann-Whitney U test, Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA), and Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM).
