Project title: A PE6A-eVLP Gene Editing Approach for PCSK9 Targeting in MASLD and HCC

This research identifies PCSK9 control cholesterol metabolism as a common mechanism in MASLD and certain types of HCC. We demonstrate that using PE6A-eVLP to target PCSK9 provides an effective strategy for treating both conditions by interrupting this shared disease pathway. This in vivo gene editing technology enables the continued development of PCSK9-targeted therapy for patients with metabolic liver disease and related cancers.

The dataset includes raw images generated from Western blotting, immunostaining, immunofluorescence assays, and DNA agarose gel electrophoresis; raw flow cytometry data from mouse tumor–related analyses; Sanger sequencing results for newly constructed plasmids and plasmid maps drawn with SnapGene based on those constructs. In addition, raw data from ELISA and other experiments were used to generate the corresponding figures in GraphPad Prism, and the GraphPad Prism files are also included in the dataset.
