Supporting data for my MPhil thesis “Application and Comparison of Object Detection Techniques to Microscopic Images of Bacteria”. Including 4 zip files, namely Training images.zip, Testing images.zip, Labels.zip and Results.zip.<div><br></div><div>Training images.zip and Testing images.zip are Gram-stained high vaginal swab images grouped by diagnosis (Healthy, intermediate, BV) and stratified random sampling was used for a 3:1 train:test ratio.</div><div><br></div><div>Labels.zip contain annotations for both training images and testing images. Manually labelled using labemImg and subsequently reformatted into txt.</div><div><br></div><div>Results.zip contains generated plots used in the thesis.</div>
