Supporting data for “Association of Fatty Acid Binding Protein 4 Downregulation with the Development and Treatment of Osteoarthritis"
This dataset contains the data collected for the dissertation "Association of Fatty Acid Binding Protein 4 Downregulation with the Development and Treatment of Osteoarthritis". It is about that FABP4 is important to the pathogenesis of osteoarthritis which is a degenerative disease affected millions of individuals. Based on the dataset, FABP4 deficiency is proven to relieve the key progress of osteoarthritis including cartilage erosion and subchondral bone resorption.
There are 2 main folders and 4 sheets for Chapter 3/4/5/6 in the file. For in vivo folder, there are HE, FGSO, IHC, microCT and TRAP. The in vivo results indicate that FABP4 deficiency in bone marrow instead of synovium could suppress the pathogenesis of osteoarthritis which includes M1 polarization and M1-related osteoclastogenesis. For in vitro part, there are flow, WB, TRAP staining, and pit assay. The in vitro results show that FABP4 inhibition could suppress the LPS/IFN-induced M1 polarization and Fabkin/RANKL-induced osteoclastogenesis.If raw MicroCT data and Akoya IHC scanning data are in need, please contact Chenhao PAN or Prof. Chiu for the assess.
