Supporting data for “Between Red Republic and Confucian Shimen: Chinese Intellectual Leadership in Higher Education”

<p dir="ltr">This study is about the conceptualization, mechanism and influnce of Chinese intellectual leadership. The target paticipants are Chinese academics who work in Chinese universities with a cooperative stance towards Chinese government and meanwhile they follow Confucian tradition. Around 15 cases are selected and analyzed. My data files consist of: 1) Interview transcripts with Chinese academics; 2) Observation data collected from the context of Chinese higher education.</p>
