The data were collected from recruited participants who joined the compulsory drug treatment centers or who joined the community rehabilitation programs. They participated in different nature treatments, including the photo-based nature intervention or field nature intervention.  Their psycho-physiological responses, socio-economic and demographic characteristics, and other covariates were recorded, but we did not reveal any information that may recognize the identity of the participants.

The file names are consistent with the thesis chapter. Chapter2_Compulsory drug treatment center study includes data of drug users' stress states before and after viewing each photos with diverse tree canopy densities, and their socio-economic and demographic information, health status, drug use conditions, and neighborhood characteristics.

Chapter3__Physiological states for four-week experiment includes data of drug users' salivary cortisol levels and secretory immunoglobulin A (sIgA) levels before and after four-week nature intervention experiment, as well as includes their socio-economic and demographic information and daily nature contact condistions.

Chapter3__Physiological states for eight-week experiment includes data of drug users' salivary cortisol levels and secretory immunoglobulin A (sIgA) levels before and after eight-week nature intervention experiment, as well as includes their socio-economic and demographic information and daily nature contact condistions.
