This dataset supports the findings presented in the thesis titled: Co-designed Instant Message-delivered Acceptance and Commitment Therapy for Depressive Symptoms in Informal Dementia Caregivers: A Mixed Methods Study of an ‘ACTion Now’ Programme. The research focuses on the development and evaluation of low-intensity psychological interventions for informal caregivers of people with dementia, delivered via an instant messaging platform. Additionally, it investigated the effectiveness of ACT-based intervention in improving caregiver well-being. The dataset includes comprehensive baseline, post-intervention, and follow-up outcomes (e.g., depressive symptoms and psychological flexibility) from 29 randomised controlled trials (RCTs) involving a total of 2,010 caregivers. These data provide robust evidence for the study, offering insights into the impact of ACT on informal caregiver psychological health over time.
