Supporting data for "Cone-Beam Computed Tomography Imaging Analysis of Anatomical Landmarks and Variations with Surgical Relevance in the Craniofacial Region"

This is the supporting Dataset and README.txt file for the thesis "Cone-Beam Computed Tomography Imaging Analysis of Anatomical Landmarks and Variations with Surgical Relevance in the Craniofacial Region". The folder comprises nine spreadsheets for the three main studies documented in the thesis. These studies were to evaluate the diagnostic accuracy of cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) for the detection of accessory mental foramina, to investigate linear and angular measurements to enhance safety in Le Fort I osteotomy, and to investigate the anatomical variations of the ethmoid sinus. Each spreadsheet is anonymized to protect patients' confidentiality and contains variables relating to their demography as well as values for the imaging measurements performed on the CBCT scans. Also, the CBCT analysis in two of the three studies (for accessory mental foramina detection and ethmoid sinus variations) involved duplicate measurements or multiple observers which are identified in the names of the spreadsheet file. Observers are denoted as "Observer 1/2/3" while measurements were denoted as "1st/2nd/3rd".
