<p dir="ltr">This is the research dataset deposited with permanent embargo due to the sensitive nature of the data. The dataset refers to the development and evaluation of the Parent CARES-LGB intervention that is informed by Emotionally Focused Therapy, designed to support nonaccepting parents of LGB individuals in Malaysia and Singapore. This is a clinical research study that involves development of a conceptual framework for intervention development, followed by intervention development and validation by stakeholders, and piloting the intervention on feasibility, preliminary effectiveness, and user experiences. </p>
