Supporting data for "Effect of Age of First Exposure on L2 Contextual Lexical Semantic Learning: Evidence from Event-Related Potentials"

This dataset contains the data collected for the dissertation "Effect of Age of First Exposure on L2 Contextual Lexical Semantic Learning: Evidence from Event-Related Potentials". This research is mainly to elucidate the influence of age of first exposure (AoFE) to L2 on the process of integrating novel words into both episodic and semantic memory systems under multi-contexts. The whole thesis contained three separate studies. These datasets include both the ERP data that is obtained from processing the raw EEG data collected in the EEG experiment and the democratic and behavioral data that is obtained by requiring participants to complete a series of tasks including the behavioral task in the EEG experiment as well as the tests and questionnaires related to second language learning. There are in total 87 valid participants for the whole research, and all of them participate both in the EEG experiment and in the tests and questionnaires.
