Liquid interfacial electrical phenomena refer to the behaviors and effects derived from the interaction between the liquid interface and electric field. It includes the electrohydrodynamic effect in which the electricity can be converted into mechanical movement and the hydroelectric effect in which the hydrodynamics can generate electricity. In this thesis, we investigate the electrostatic phenomena at liqiud interfaces and apply them to achieve the function of liquid transportation, self-power, and sensing in sustainable electronics.
