Supporting data for "Employee Territoriality and Job Performance: A Qualitative and Quantitative Investigation"
The construct of territoriality reflects an individual’s behavioral expression of his or her feelings of ownership toward a physical or social object. I take an actor-centric perspective to explore whether employees may gain or suffer from territorial behaviors and what are their psychological experiences. This research project (Reference number EA200002) was approved by the Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC) of the University of Hong Kong. Participation was entirely voluntary, and participants were left free to withdraw at any time without any adverse consequences. All gathered information would be used only for research purposes. The data collection procedure was promised to keep confidentiality.
