Supporting data for Evaluation of Regional Climate Change and Surface Warming Mechanism over Tibetan Plateau

TP Climate Change dataset is obtained and processed based on the daily values of climate data from Chinese surface stations, China Meteorological Administration. The dataset includes such daily data as temperature and precipitation from 699 stations in China from January 1951 to December 2019. The temperature and precipitation data are recorded daily and aggregated monthly and annually for climate change research over the Tibetan Plateau. Furthermore, the weather element data from 1979 to 2019 has been under quality control in the dataset production process. All suspicious and incorrect data have been rechecked and rectified manually, and eventually, all element data are flagged with quality control codes.
