Supporting data for "Fostering Knowledge Building through Meta-discourse among Chinese Tertiary Students"
My PhD thesis investigated tertiary students' collaborative knowledge building in business English class. 25 first-year students in Shanghai participated in this project. Muiple sources of data were collected: teacher-student dialogue, in-class group discussion, forum notes, electronic-portfolio notes, reflective group presentations, domain tests, and final exam scores.
