Supporting data for "Gamified Accounting Education Intervention for Secondary School Students"
This study investigates the potentiality of a gamified learning intervention in enhancing secondary-level accounting education. Specifically, it evaluates how gamification influences student engagement, satisfaction, and academic performance, while also exploring teachers’ perceptions of its pedagogical utility. Developed and implemented in three secondary schools in Hong Kong, the quantitative component involves pre- and post-intervention tests and questionnaire-based surveys through descriptive and inferential statistical tests to measure student engagement, satisfaction, and performance. The qualitative component comprises semi-structured interviews and thematic analysis to explore students' and teachers' perceptions of gamification in accounting education.
