Supporting data for "Home Environment and Young Chinese Children's English Development in Hong Kong"

The data was used for the thesis tilted "Home environment and young Chinese children's English development in Hong Kong". It includes three folders as well as the ethical approval and ethical approval application form. The first folder is named "data used for 1st sub-study" which includes the data used for a systematic review on the home environment and young Asian children's English development. Specifically, it includes all the reviewed studies, a blank coding form, and the coding sheets from the two coders. The second folder is named "data used for 2nd sub-study" which includes the data used for the development and validation of a questionnaire assessing parental beliefs about supporting young children's English development. Specifically, it includes the data of parents' interview, the data for a pilot study, and the data used in the validation phase. The third folder is named "data for 3rd and 4th sub-studies" which includes the data used to examine the relationship between the home environment, children's interest in learning English, and young Chinese children's English development in Hong Kong.
