HBV reactivation after liver transplantation(LT) is a significant problem leading to graft failure and worse survival. However, post-LT HBV reactivation is hard to predict. Exosomal microRNAs play important roles in gene regulations and are useful prognostic and therapeutic targets for disease recurrence after surgery. We aimed to identify novel exosomal miRNAs for preventing HBV reactivation after LT and to characterize the role of miR-766-3p in HBV reactivation.

Serum samples were recruited from the HBV-reactivated LT patients at the first time of HBV reactivation(HBVreactive) and the latest follow-up time before HBV reactivation(HBVinactive) . Differentially expressed exosomal miRNAs were identified by low density array (LDA) in matched HBVreactive and HBVinactive samples in LT patients. The role and possible mechanisms of exosomal miR-766-3p in HBV reactivation was characterized in the HBV infection model of HepG2-NTCP cell line.

The dataset contains the raw data and processed data for

4.1 Identification of exosomal miRNAs associated with HBV reactivation after liver transplantation

4.2 Characterization of the functional roles of miRNAs in HBV reactivation

4.3 Investigation of underlying mechanism of miR-766-3p in HBV infection

These data were generated by low density array, western blot, EM, NTA, qRT-PCR, qPCR, HBV DNA assay, ELISA, Protein Array, and analyzed by Prism, excel, image J mainly.
