This dataset is part of a research project focused on evaluating indoor thermal comfort using the PMVt index, incorporating weather parameters, location, and activity data. The study involves 50 participants and covers 30 cases, with data collected in residential settings in Shanghai. Target participants include individuals from diverse demographics, performing typical household activities such as sitting, standing, or sleeping in common residential areas like bedrooms and living rooms.

The dataset consists of six variables: air temperature (ta), globe temperature (tg), air velocity (va), relative humidity (RH), location, and activity. Weather parameters were measured using high-accuracy monitoring devices placed according to the ASHRAE 55 Standard, ensuring reliable and representative environmental data. Location and activity data were recorded simultaneously to contextualize the thermal comfort analysis. This dataset provides a comprehensive foundation for understanding dynamic indoor comfort conditions across varied cases and participants, supporting advancements in residential design and energy efficiency.
