This dataset was generated supporting PhD study on sustainable urban water management in Hong Kong using an integrated framework. It provides three groups of data that together support integrated life cycle and risk assessments of urban water systems. The Life Cycle Inventory dataset compiles system-level inputs and outputs across major processes, including water abstraction, treatment, distribution, wastewater collection, and sludge management. The Pathogen Level datasets report measured and literature-derived concentrations of key microbial indicators in raw sewage and in coastal seawater, which are relevant to assessing human health risks through water reuse applications. Each dataset is provided in CSV for ease of use and is accompanied by a dedicated data dictionary that explains variable definitions and coding. Together, these data provide a foundation for conducting life cycle assessment (LCA), life cycle costing (LCC), and quantitative microbial risk assessment (QMRA) of Hong Kong city-level water systems.
