<p dir="ltr">This study explored the international contextual elements, strategies, benefits and challenges of GBA cross-institutional doctoral education programs. The research employed an in-depth qualitative case-study approach to understand the practices and strategies used to conventionally internationalise a combined doctoral program. Data collection was carried out through document research analysis and multi-case studies from participants encompassing academics and doctoral students. The dataset mainly includes the files regarding interview data such as audio recordings, informed consent forms, interview questions and scripts, figures and appendices.</p>
