Overexpression of CSPG in diabetic mice respond for chronic inflammatory phase in diabetic chronic wound. The use of Intradermal delivery of ChABC digested the overexpressed CSPG, mediated release of CCL2 which triggers macrophage infiltration and polarization. This results in anti-inflammatory macrophage subtype dominant and release of growth factor. All together allows cell proliferation and increase in neovascularization that accelerated chronic wound healing in diabetic mice.
