Diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) is a promising research area and has been widely used in clinical applications. However, DWI is very vulnerable to motion artifacts. Multiple motion correction methods are investigated in this study. Furthermore, a novel iblocks-DWI protocol has been developed and implemented for 2D and 3D DWI imaging. Motion correction methods were developed accordingly. This novel iblocks-DWI protocol has been compared with the conventional navigated interleaved DWI protocol. Performances of motion correction methods were evaluated.

This dataset contains the code, raw data, and results of four projects related to motion correction of multi-shot diffusion-weighted imaging. In the first project, several motion correction methods were used for readout-segmented DWI data, and the performances were compared. The second project evaluated the use of four-shot DWI in liver. MUSE and SENSE were used for data reconstruction and minuscule motion correction. The third project proposed motion correction algorithms for 2D blocks DWI and DTI. The forth project discussed reconstruction and motion correction for 3D blocks DWI.
