<p dir="ltr">This is a set of supporting data for the PhD thesis titled "Negative Emotionality, Self-Regulation, and Externalizing/Internalizing Difficulties in Children with ADHD". The datasets include Study 1 (N=315) and Study 2 (N=71), along with the relevant questionnaires. </p><p dir="ltr">Study 1 (1A and 1B) employs a cross-sectional, multi-informant approach to explore the influence of negative emotionality and self-regulation on externalizing and internalizing difficulties in children with ADHD aged 9 to 15 years. Children, parents, and teachers completed questionnaires assessing ADHD symptoms, temperament traits, and behavioural and emotional problems. </p><p dir="ltr">Study 2 (2A and 2B) investigates the multifaceted nature of self-regulation in children with ADHD aged 8 to 13 years using a virtual reality (VR) paradigm. This study incorporates child-reported questionnaires, heart rate variability measured by electrocardiogram, and behavioural and emotional responses during a VR game, supplemented by parent and teacher reports on ADHD symptoms, temperament traits, and daily challenges.</p>
