This dataset serves as supporting information
for the thesis “Protective Effects of Some Flavonoid Derivatives against
Acrolein and Glycidol-induced Toxicities in Endothelial Cells”, Acrolein and glycidyl
esters are lipid-derived toxicants that widely occur in processed foods. Toxicological
evaluation of acrolein and glycidol was conducted in vivo using human umbilical
vein endothelial cells (HUVECs). In addition, a series of flavonoid
derivatives, stilbenoid-fused naringenin, were synthesized and screened for
their protective efficacy. The data includes statistical analysis from flow
cytometry, immunoblot assay, ELISA, qRT-PCR results in HUVECs.
