This dataset serves as a crucial supporting dataset for the PhD thesis titled "RIVERINE CARBON CYCLING IN THE EAST RIVER (DONGJIANG) BASIN, CHINA." This dataset includes valuable records of riverine CO2 emission measurements encompassing parameters such as pCO2, k, and FCO2. Additionally, it comprises chemical weathering data involving cations, anions, and Dsi. The dataset captures information from 43 sampled rivers and three reservoirs within the East River Basin. These data were collected throughout five fieldwork campaigns from December 2018 to October 2019, including three in the wet season (early wet season - late April, middle wet season - early July, and late wet season - late August) and two in the dry season (middle dry season - December 2018 to early January 2019 and early dry season - late October 2019. The dataset lays the foundation for calculating basin-wide CO2 emissions and weathering carbon sink within the East River Basin. The resulting insights will enhance our comprehension of the role that rivers play in the intricate web of regional carbon balance dynamics.
