A survey is conducted to investigate the enablers and challenges for clinicians to prescribe antibiotics prudently, particularly in applying policies and guidelines. The data represent findings from questionnaires completed by physicians and veterinarians. Physicians and veterinarians were asked how to view antibiotic use policy and guidelines, their experiences in antibiotic prescription, and factors that influence their prescription behavior.
The policy content analysis, prescription behavior sytematic review and the self-controlled case series study provide data. Together with the survey findings, help translate data to policy framing and implementation.
