This dataset supports the thesis titled “Synthesized Complex-Frequency Waves for Optical Sensing and Superimaging.” Synthesized complex-frequency waves (CFWs) represent an innovative method for loss compensation through the coherent combination of multiple real-frequency responses. Unlike other solutions such as gain materials and low-loss materials, the synthesized CFW method can be universally applied across various application scenarios without incurring additional experimental challenges and costs, thereby facilitating the study of light-matter interactions. This thesis investigates the physical mechanisms and mathematical principles underlying the synthesized CFW method, as well as its practical applications in optical sensing and superimaging. The dataset consists of two components: (1) mid-infrared spectra of various molecules and (2) superimaging results in the microwave frequency range, both of which are used to validate the effectiveness of our CFW method. The dataset is stored in .mat files and requires MATLAB software to be read.
