Supporting data for "The Growth and Spatial Variation of China’s Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs): Localization and State-Manipulated Resource Mobilization under Soft Budget Constraints"

<p>This dataset includes interview notes collected from in-depth interviews in Wuhan and Guangzhou. In Wuhan, the interviews were conducted during two periods, i.e., 6-28 July of 2021 and 12-20 May of 2022. In Guangzhou, the interviews were conducted during three periods from 17 July to 7 September of 2021, 24 February of 2022, and from 25 May to 7 June of 2022. The language of interview notes is Chinese. The data is used for comparative case studies of PPP development in the two cities. </p>
