Dataset collected from a 18 months parallel armed randomised controlled trial conducted among preschool children in Hong Kong to compare between quarterly-applied sodium fluoride varnish and glass-ionomer sealant, assessing in the aspects of caries-preventive efficacies, cost-effectiveness and children's behaviours. This file records the data in tooth level for analysis.
