Supporting data for "The development of students’ L2 selves: cases from a teacher-centred ISLA context and a student-centred ISLA context in China"
The study is about the development of students' L2 selves at a teacher-centred and a student-centred contexts respectively. Data were drawn oven an academic year with four selected students and their classroom teachers. Data included in the datahub are: fieldnotes, student and teacher interviews, transcripts, photos, students' L2 self-images. With the obtained data, the study seeks to answer how students' L2 selves are shaped by the instructional contexts as well as their personal background.
