Supporting data for "The molecular evolution of SARS-CoV-2'
"The molecular evolution of SARS-CoV-2" is a PhD thesis submitted as a part of the graduation requirement. This study focused on applying genomics sequencing in the COVID-19 outbreak investigation and analyzing the emergence of amino acid mutations among COVID-19 patients including both acute infection and chronic infection. This thesis contributes to the understanding of the molecular evolution of SARS-CoV-2 by applying by offering valuable insights into its transmission dynamics, the impact of control measures, intrahost variation, and the challenges posed by zoonotic transfer. The findings also emphasized the critical role of genomic surveillance in detecting antiviral drug resistance in a population.
The dataset contains tables of information regarding the sequenced strains from our genomics surveillance and data for reproducing the graphs and figures.
