<p><br></p><p dir="ltr">This dataset contains the data I collected during my PhD studies. My research project aims to investigate the photophysical properties of d<sup>0</sup> W(VI) and Mo(VI) complexes and their applications in organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs).</p><p dir="ltr">The dataset is divided into nine folders named according to the characterization category: 1_NMR, 2_Mass spectra, 3_X-ray crystal structures, 4_Cyclic voltammogram, 5_UV-vis absorption spectra, 6_Emission spectra, 7_Transient absorption spectra, 8_TGA and 9_OLED devices. Each folder contains three subfolders:<b> </b>Chapter 3, Chapter 4 and Chapter 5, and each subfolder contains corresponding characterization data.</p><p dir="ltr">The NMR data files can be opened and processed by Bruker TopSpin or MestReNova software. The MS data can be analysed by Bruker Compass DataAnalysis. The X-ray crystal data files can be opened by Mercury software. Cyclic Voltammogram, TGA, UV-vis absorption spectra and emission spectra data can be opened by Origin software. Transient absorption spectra and OLED device data are compiled in PowerPoint files and the data can be opened by Origin software.</p>
