Supporting data for “Traditional Culture in China’s Contemporary English Education: A Study of College English Curriculum”

<p dir="ltr">This main folder includes interviews with teachers (Teacher 1-Teacher 53) and ten focus group interview transcripts (Group 1-Group 10) and the semi-structured interviews with ten students, README, and the interview protocols (for teachers and students). </p><p dir="ltr">This research investigates the dynamic of Chinese cultural resources in intercultural teaching and learning in CE through ethnographic interviews with fifty-three language teachers and ten focus groups involving fifty undergraduate students from non-English majors. Moreover, the researcher purposefully selected ten students from the focus-group interviews for one-on-one semi-structured interviews to gain a deeper understanding of the students’ perspectives on the dynamics of Chinese culture. These ten students were S6, S14, S25, S27, S45, S46, S34, S23, S37, and S39. </p>
