This is the supporting data for “Transmission and control of influenza and COVID-19 in schools”. 

There are 4 datasets within:

A. Filename: Surface sampling study       

Short description: This is the dataset for a surface sampling study for influenza virus in schools. Dataset contains influenza detection, sampling time, and surface types.        

B. Filename: School transmission study       

Short description: This is the dataset for a school-based transmission study. Dataset contains age group, influenza infection, and respiratory illness symptoms among school-aged children.         

C. Filename: Class dismissal - children and parental responses       

Short description: This is the dataset for a survey that collected data on social activities and contacts of children during COVID-19 class dismissals. Dataset contains demographic information, social activities and contacts of children, and parents' opinion on class dismissal and online learning. 

D. Filename: Feasibility of school-based measures

Short description: This is the dataset for a survey on school-based measures during the COVID-19 pandemic. Dataset contains school characteristics and perceived feasiblity of school-based control measures by schools.
