1. [ Study 1-The role of culture in the relation between emotional dependency and psychosocial adjustment.sav ] is a spss version of raw statistics and information generated by the study 1 of my thesis. The fisrt purpose of study 1 was to examine the cross-cultural difference in the relation of emotional dependency and psychosocal adjustment between British and Chinese children. The second purpose of Study 1 was to examine the cross-cultural difference of maternal attitudes toward emotional dependency. The third purpose of Study 1 was to examine the moderating role of maternal attitudes in the relation between emotional dependency and psychosocial adjustment. The demographic information in dataset of study 1 include child's id in study, child's age, child's sex, mother's
education level, mother's occupation status, mother's cultural background, number of siblings in family. The study variables in dataset of study 1 include children's emotional dependency, children's social skills and problem behaviors, maternal attitudes toward children's emotional dependency.

[Study 2-The predictive role of emotional dependency on psychosocial adjustment among Chinese preschool children.sav] is a spss version of raw statistics and information generated by the study 2 of my thesis. The fisrt purpose of study 2 was to examine the predictive role of emotional dependency and psychosocal adjustment among Chinese preschool children. The second purpose of study 2 was to examine the moderating role of Chinese maternal attitudes in the relation between children's emotional dependency and psychosocial adjustment. The demographic information in dataset of study 1 include child's id in study, the kindergarten name, child's age, child's sex, family income, mother's education level. The study variables in dataset of study 1 include children's emotional dependency, Time 1 children's social skills and problem behaviors, Time 2 children's social skills and problem behaviors, maternal attitudes toward children's emotional dependency, mother-child relationships, child's temperament.
