<p dir="ltr">This dataset encompassed a systematic evaluation of the nutritional and health benefits associated with <i>H. undatus</i> flower soup, which serves as a quintessential exemplar of Cantonese slow-cooked soup.</p><p dir="ltr">The findings shed light on the multifaceted nature of CSCS as a culinary creation that seamlessly blends taste and therapeutic potential.</p><p dir="ltr">The findings also contribute to a broader understanding of how diet-based traditional practices can be leveraged to address contemporary health challenges in the management of metabolic and oxidative stress-related conditions.</p><p dir="ltr">Dataset 1_thesis: This folder contains all the raw and processed data involved in this thesis, specifically five chapters and the thesis file, including: literature review; basic chemical analysis and primary bioactivities of the <i>Hylocereus undatus</i> flower soup; untargeted metabolomics analysis of <i>Hylocereus undatus</i> flower soup; potential therapeutic effects of <i>Hylocereus undatus</i> flower on diabetes and related complications; and the nephroprotective efficacy of <i>Hylocereus undatus</i> flower and its principal flavonoid, kaempferol 3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside, on rat glomerular mesangial cells.</p><p dir="ltr">Dataset 2_others: This folder contains other information and materials related to the research, including the research mind map, research protocol, tools used, published articles, and other in-process data.</p><p dir="ltr"><br></p>
