We investigate the function of MBD-2 in C. elegans, which was poorly studied in C. elegans. In this project various omics data are produced. We identified MBD-2 is present in the highly conserved NuRD complex with the use of Immunoprecipitation-Mass Spectrometry (IP-MS), its transcriptome regulation with RNA-seq and its direct targets with ChIP-seq data. The excel worksheet contains the analysed data on IP-MS on sheet1, which are protein interacting partners of MBD-2. The transcriptome data is from mbd-2 KO worms on sheet2, which are used for investigating the role of MBD-2 in regulating transcription in the thesis. ChIP-seq data are on sheet3, which are used for comparing with published data on NuRD components to identify gene targets of MBD-2 co-bound with NuRD complex.
