Supporting data for seroepidemiology of Hepatitis E virus in Hong Kong

<p dir="ltr">This data completely describes the epidemiology of Hepatitis E virus among immunocompromised patients and immunocompetent patients using molecular and serological assays.<br><br>The file “2.0 Gee's in-house ELISA (No ID, No SOT)” contains an in-house HEV IgG ELISA result of 10,691 immunocompetent patient samples. It reveals hepatitis E, especially rat hepatitis E seroprevalence among the general population in Hong Kong. It also contains a statistical analysis between seropositivity and different factors like age, gender and etc.<br><br>The file “updated SOT HSCT cohort lists” is a completed record of solid organ transplant (SOT) recipients and hematopoietic stem cell transplant (HSCT) recipients cohorts. It contains 669 SOT patients and 529 HSCT patients. It exhibits different information like age, gender, transplant date and types, serological and molecular testing results of HEV.<br><br>The file “6.0 Serological comparison between SOT and LinleiBrian's samples” shows a comparison of HEV between 722 SOT patients and 722 age-matched immunocompetent persons. Serological and molecular testing results also included in this file.</p>
