Diabetic Nephropathy (DN), one of the most common microvascular complication of diabetes, is a serious public health concern all over the world. Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) are more than 200 nucleotides in length and play roles in various biological pathways, such as inflammation, cell senesce and apoptosis. On this basis, my research direction is about to explore the role of lncRNA Nuclear Enriched Abundant Transcript 1 (NEAT1) in diabetic nephropathy and to find new therapeutic targets for the prevention and treatment of diabetic nephropathy.
