Supporting data for “ Phototriggered charge reversal of dendrimer-based nanocomplexes for targeted drug delivery”
My thesis work focuses on the development of photoresponsive drug delivery platforms. The platforms were developed based on cationic polymer, PAMAM. There are totally three parts in my thesis.
In the first part, a photoresponsive protein delivery system was developed to self-assemble with proteins with different molecular weights and isoelectric points to form nanoparticles. Upon light irradiation, the nanoparticles can increase intracellular delivery of proteins by charge reversal. The data contain the nanoparticle characterization, flow cytometry and confocal microscopy data that determine the protein delivery efficiency.
In the second part, another photoresponsive system was developed to deliver hydrophobic small molecules for anti-cancer therapy. The data also contain the nanoparticle characterization, flow cytometry and confocal microscopy data that determine the small molecule delivery efficiency. In addition, the study conducted animal experiments. Therefore, in vivo data were included in the document.
In the third part, we developed a nanovaccine for the anti-cancer immuotherapy. The nanovaccine is also photoresponsive. The data contain nanovaccine characterization, in vitro and in vivo data that demonstrate the immune response mediated by the nanovaccine.
