Supporting data for "GPRC5A promotes lung colonization of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma"

This dataset is part of a research project focused on understanding how GPRC5A facilitates lung colonization in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC). The study includes basic research using animal models and clinical data from 148 ESCC patients, all of whom provided informed consent. It features clinicopathological characteristics, as well as experimental immunofluorescence and immunohistochemistry staining from our in-house cohort.

The dataset includes both raw and processed data from various experiments, such as western blotting, qRT-PCR, functional assays, immunofluorescence, immunohistochemistry, single-cell RNA sequencing, transcriptome analysis, animal model information, and bioluminescence imaging. Each file is organized and clearly labeled to facilitate analysis, assisting researchers in their data exploration.

Our project aims to shed light on the mechanisms underlying cancer micrometastasis, fostering further research and discussion in this vital field. We propose that the GPRC5A-mediated WWP1/LATS1/YAP1 axis plays a crucial role in driving both lung micro- and macro-metastases in ESCC. Targeting this axis with CA3 or TED-347 may decrease metastatic potential and offer therapeutic advantages for ESCC patients. We have ensured that all data is anonymized to maintain participant confidentiality and privacy, in compliance with ethical research standards.
