This dataset, used for my thesis, investigates how intergenerational support patterns and transitions influence subsequent care, frailty, health, and overall well-being among Chinese older adults aged 60 and above. The sample sizes are as follows: Chapters 4 and 5 include 5,388 participants, while Chapter 6 involves 3,445 participants. The dataset encompasses variables such as independent variables (intergenerational support patterns), dependent variables (subsequent support provision, frailty index, satisfaction, self-rated health, mobility, and depressive symptoms), and relevant covariates.
