This research project aims to reconstruct the variability of surface and deep ocean circulation in the Iceland Basin during the Holocene epoch (11,700 years BP to Present). The study employs stable isotope analysis of oxygen (δ¹⁸O) and carbon (δ¹³C) from both benthic and planktic foraminifera, alongside the examination of benthic and planktonic assemblages. The Modern Analog Technique (MAT) was utilized to reconstruct surface paleoenvironmental parameters, while radiocarbon dating was employed to establish the age model for core U1314.
The data files include detailed records of stable isotope measurements, assemblage compositions, and radiocarbon dating results. Each file is meticulously organized to facilitate access to the information.
