189 parents of primary school children were randomly assigned to either the Parent Management Training (PMT), Mindful Parenting (MP), or waitlist-control group. Data were collected at baseline, post-intervention, and two-month follow-up. The data obtained were used to examine the effectiveness and mechanisms of change of the two parenting interventions. Measures include parenting knowledge, parental mindfulness, parenting practice, parental stress, parent's sense of competence, parent-child relationship, child behavioral problem and parent's emotional competence.
